In a historic first for the Tel Aviv Heat, Omer Levinson has become the first Israeli to captain the Tel Aviv Heat in a representative team.
Head Coach Kevin Musikanth is very pleased with the appointment.
"I’m extremely proud of Omer Levinson and how he has dedicated himself to our program and his professional rugby career. Nicknamed “HaTikvah” The hope is appropriate given the fact that he is now the first Israeli to lead the Heat. I remember giving him his first international senior appearance as an 18-year-old. Watching his leadership and ability as a player develop over the last 5 seasons has been remarkable. I look forward to this next step in his career as a player."
