Tel Aviv Heat Journal Entry #1:

LANA KADIM

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Born and raised in South Africa

Lana the first Chief Operating Officer of The Tel Aviv Heat describes herself as a passionate, sporty Ex South African who loves the Bush and a Braai. Having grown up in South Africa Lana will also never turn down Biltong!

Lana followed the traditional South African school system which focuses significantly on sports having played netball throughout her school career ending up in the King David 1st team playing as the centre or wing defense. “They called me the jumper as I was really good at intercepting the ball…

I have always been sporty I ran cross country for my school as well and today I still follow a strict fitness regime with yoga and pilates being what I focus on, after years of Aerobics and Capoiera…”

Lana moved to Israel 36 years ago after satisfying her travel bug having spent time in France and the US.

I am excited and proud to be part of the Tel Aviv Heat, helping this amazing team grow and develop into a world class team, I also hope that I can contribute to Rugby Israel and it’s 10 year plan to get to The World Cup and the Olympics…. I remember Nelson Mandela saying… “sport has the power to change the world, It has the power to inspire. It has the power to unite people in a way that little else does…” this is now more important than ever…”
